We Can Ride’s herd of highly-trained equines are truly the muscle behind the miracles. Coming from a variety of backgrounds, each gentle giant brings their own unique personality to this work.

Mule
As the only mule on site, Billy has quickly become a favorite since joining us in 2021.
Buck
Quarter Horse
A former rodeo star, Buck was born in 2008 and joined us in 2021. He spends his days with bestie Billy.

Our steady and hardworking Diego joined We Can Ride in 2015. He was born in 2000.

Congrats to Gus, our 2021 Horse of the Year! Born in in 1999, Gus has been with us since 2013.

Born in 2007, joined us in 2024, already a rock star!

American Warmblood
Tawny was born in 2003 and came to We Can Ride in 2024. She immediately impressed us with her dressage skills and moved seamlessly into therapeudic riding classes. What a gem!

Percheron
Mitch joined WCR at the end of 2024. The only thing more outstanding than his size is his personality!

Born in 2000, Klara joined us in 2019.

Born in in 1997, Kota has been with We Can Ride since 2019.

Born in 1999, Koal joined us in 2017.
McDreamy
Thoroughbred
Former race horse McDreamy was born in 2006. He won almost $50,000 in racing purses before coming to us in 2018.

Born in 2015 wild and free in Wyoming, Nova’s journey included many twists and turns before finding WCR in 2023.

Dakotah came off of a grand cross-country adventure to join our program in 2024. You can usually find her hanging out with her best friend, Mitch.
