Organizational Overview: Founded in 1982, We Can Ride, Inc. (WCR) is a non-profit, 501 (C)(3), volunteer-based organization whose mission is to challenge those living with physical, cognitive, emotional and behavioral disabilities by enhancing their skills and well being through programs of therapeutic horseback riding, hippotherapy and carriage driving. As a Premier Accredited Center with the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship International (PATH, Intl.), WCR operates under the guidance of credentialed physical and occupational therapists and PATH certified therapeutic riding instructors who are assisted by trained and dedicated volunteers. For more information: www.wecanride.org Primary Objectives: The Executive Director provides overall leadership, planning, and management for We Can Ride. Key focus areas include fundraising, budget management, relationship management and human resources.
