Your support makes an impact in so many ways.  "Discover The Impact" Tours will be hosted throughout the WCR riding and driving year - April through September.  Please come visit us and watch a class to understand how this program has made a real Impact to our riders and their parents.  It may just be the best hour in your week! 

Tour:

• 1 hour
• 4 locations and various times to choose from
• Hear from our staff, Executive Director or a devoted volunteer about how and why they are involved at WCR
• Watch a short video that explains some background information to help you understand what you will witness in class
• Visit a class in action with the whole team (rider, instructor, horse & volunteers)
• Hear from a parent as they share their WCR story and its impact in their lives

There is no doubt that the most awe-inspiring part of our program is what happens between horse and rider.  Age, disability or experience of the rider does not matter to the horse.   In the beginning they are strangers, but in a short time through a special and unique bond among the entire team (rider, horse, volunteer and instructor) they work together resulting in amazing progress, unexpected accomplishments and increased self confidence.   The riders are training their mental, emotional and physical abilities to become stronger, more independent and more of themselves.
